BMW Logo


The German automobile company BMW AG is one of the leading manufacturers of automobile and motorcycles in the globe. The company was founded in 1916 and was based in Munich, Germany. BMW AG stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft or Bavarian Motor Works in English. BMW is also the parent company of MINI and Rolls-Royce car brands. The BMW Company has reached the sky of success with colossal achievement.

The BMW logo, usually acknowledged as “roundel”, was developed in 1917. BMW logo is a concrete representation of the corporate image of the company. It is said to be one of the most distinctive logo designs in the world, and it was designed to mean Bavaria as the company’s production site.

A thick black ring, encircled by a sleek silver lining, exhibits the BMW logo in a graceful manner. The gap in the ring is divided into four equal blue and white alternative quadrants. The BMW logo has become one of the world’s most renowned symbols and projects an identity that is elegant, apparent, sporty and image-conscious.
