In 1869, A German Henry John Heinz is started the company in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. Heinz headquarter is situated in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Heinz Company’s first product was horseradish, followed by pickles and tomato ketchup. Heinz is an American processed food company. Heinz is famous for its “57 Varieties” slogan.

Heinz began his business with the help of his brother John and his cosine Fredrick in 1875. The Company launched its well known product “tomato ketchup”. The new company was known as F. & J. Heinz until 1888.
In 1892, Henry Heinz saw an advertisement for “21 verities of shoes” in New York. The company was producing over 60 products at that time, but a number 57 has been chosen by Henry Heinz, the reason is the digits ‘5’ and ‘7’ took special significance for him and his wife. That was the story for company’s famous slogan “57 varieties”.

A logo represents the company. Heinz red and white logo is not only the identity of the company but also it helps to enhance company business. Heinz logo tells the 57 theory again, Heinz 57 sign stands 42.5 feet high and 32 feet wide. The red and white Heinz logo illustrates the organization’s intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey.
