MITSUBISHI LOGO

Yataro Iwasaki was launched the first Mitsubishi Company in 1870. It was a shipping firm. Mitsubishi is a combination of two words. First one is “Mitsu”, which means ‘three’, and the other one is “hishi” meaning ‘water chestnut’. Mitsubishi Corporation is a member of the Mitsubishi Group. As of 2007, Mitsubishi Corporation is Japan’s largest general trading company.

• Mitsubishi Bank launched in 1919. Mitsubishi Bank merges with the Bank of Tokyo in 1996. Mitsubishi Bank became Japan’s largest bank in 2004.
• Mitsubishi is the 6th largest Japanese auto manufacturer.
• Mitsubishi Chemical is the largest Japanese Chemicals Company.

The Mitsubishi logo is made up of 3 equal diamonds, each of which is made by two equal triangles. Mitsubishi logo is the identity for Mitsubishi Group. The Mitsubishi logo is significant, which is recognizable for their customers worldwide.
