SMIRNOFF LOGO

Smirnoff is a brand of vodka now hold and produced by British drinks company Diageo. Arsenieyevich Smirnov first founded his vodka distillery in Moscow in the period of 1860s, under the name of PA Smirnoff; He died in 1910 and was succeeded by Vladimir Smirnov.


This company grew and flourished quickly and produced than 3 million cases of vodka per year. During the October Revolution the distillery was impounded and the family had to escape. Smirnov re-established the factory in 1920 in Istanbul. Four years later he moved to Poland and started to sell the vodka under the modern French spelling of the name, “Smirnoff”.


The design of the Smirnoff’s logo is very stylish and simpler which makes them eye-catching and easier for the brain to memorize. And if we consider that some of the most successful logos are simple, and most importantly, easy to remember.
