Why the ballyhoo about logo design

Do a Google search for logo design, and you will see several companies offering logo design services at the cheapest prices possible. Life for the small business owner has become difficult, as they say too many options is not an option at all. But one would wonder why so many companies have popped up in these recent years, with intentions to make big in the design industry. I will tell you why, it is because small business owners are now more aware and understanding of the importance of branding and marketing.

ask any small business owner and he/she will be able to tell you why they want a professionally designed logo. So since I had some time at hand, I sent out a small email, asking a lot of friends, who happen to be running small business here in the US and in other parts of the world, to explain me how important a logo is for their business.

1. 33% said their logo helps them portray a professional look and feel
2. 20% say it helps in branding and marketing
3. 39% said it makes their business more reputable
4. 8% it makes their business name become more memorable
