Attorney and Legal Logos

Okay this particular category interests me more, since I am a big Boston Legal fan   But let’s stick to the topic and talk about attorney and legal logos. Attorney, legal, and Lawyer logos are not very different from financial and accounting logos.

For those of you who know about Crane, Pool and Schmidt, and have noticed their logo, will realize that usually all law firms tend of have kind of conservative logos. I believe this is because their target market, their clients want to find help from a firm that is serious, old, experienced and experts.

Now keeping this in mind, when you start designing a logo for a law firm, focus on the idea of creating a trustable, serious, and conservative logo. This is not to suggest that logos for law firms, attorneys cannot have a contemporary look and feel. You can add a little modernism and make the firm look more contemporary, especially if it’s a new one. But always remember, Law companies care a LOT about their image.

Lastly, keep in mind that the law firm would want to use the logo as their door sign, so don’t overdo the graphics and make sure the logo looks good with minimum colors. I will leave you with some examples of good law firm logos.
