Dental / Dentist Logos

Okay let’s do a small mental exercise. Think about a logo for a dentist / dental office called Dental Services. Did you think of using a set of sparking white teeth and writing dental service underneath or around that? If so, then that’s what most of the designers do. I am tired seeing this kind of logos for a dental practitioner. I guess it’s time to review and understand the business of a dentist

We all know that a dentist helps treats and prevents diseases of the teeth, gums and mouth. Dentists are professionals trained specifically for diagnosing and treating the many diseases that can occur in the oral cavity. They also instruct people on how to care for their oral hygiene.  They do cosmetic surgeries, restore damaged teeth, improve the color and so on.

When designing dental logos, try to breakaway from the regular types. Be more personal and creative. How about making a smiley and friendly logo? Using bright colors, making the dentistry practice appear as if it’s a fun place to be. You can even create a character out of the tooth, make it look funny.. you see my point here? Be different! All logos should be unique and different
