The Royal Wedding – Prince William and Kate Middleton


Friday 29th of April, 2011… a day to be registered in history with golden alphabets, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis and Miss Catherine Middleton will be tied in a wedding knot in Westminster Abbey, London.

The day for Royal Wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton has been declared as a public holiday.

Musicians for the Royal Wedding

Music at the wedding service of Prince William will be performed by two choirs, one orchestra and two fanfare teams:

•    The Choir of Westminster Abbey
•    The Chapel Royal Choir
•    The London Chamber Orchestra
•    The Fanfare Team from the Central Band of the Royal Air Force
•    The State Trumpeters of The Household Cavalry


Mr. James O’Donnell, organist and Master of Chorister at Westminster abbey will direct the Choirs in The Royal Wedding.

The fanfare team from the Central Band of the Royal Air Force will perform under the direction of Wing Commander Duncan Stubbs.

Mr. Christopher Warren-Green, the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the London Chamber Orchestra will conduct the Orchestra.

The Royal Wedding Cake

The Royal Wedding Cake will be created by Fiona Cairns, a Leicestershire-based cake designer. The choice for Cake designer has been made by both Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton.

Prince William has also asked a cake company named “McVitie’s” to prepare a chocolate biscuit cake for the reception at Buckingham Palace. The chocolate biscuit cake will be prepared using recipe from The Royal Family.

Hugo Burnand has been selected as the Official photographer for The Royal Wedding. Hugo Burnand was also the official photographer at the wedding of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall 2005.

Official Royal Wedding Coin

An official UK coin has gone into production to commemorate The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton.

The coin was approved by the Royal Household and the Government. The official Royal Wedding coin features the portraits of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton, their wedding date and their names written in informal manner. The obverse has a portrait of Prince William’s grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen.
