Apple Beats Google as World’s Most Valuable Brand
BrandZ 2011 announces Apple as world’s most valuable brand with 153,285 $M brand value, leaving behind Google at a value of 111,498 $M. Apple has appeared as a phenomenal tech giant during the last year.
Constant innovation has helped Apple to create its firm brand value. Meeting customer’s needs and providing them quality products with affordability, has brought it a huge market share.
Apple has grown 85% from last year; thus, putting an end to Google’s four years victory as World’s most valuable brand. Apple’s victory is so simple to state but difficult to demonstrate because it involves enormous number of technically sound strategies that have worked out for Apple during last year.
According to Reuters; Peter Walshe, global brands director of Millward Brown, says Apple’s meticulous attention to detail, along with an increasing presence of its gadgets in corporate environments, have allowed it to behave differently from other consumer-electronics makers.
Facebook has been regarded as the fastest growing brand. McDonalds has reached to fourth place with 23% increase in its brand value, amounting 81,016 $M while IBM ranks third with 17% increase from last year.
Apple’s iPad 2 has turned this brand as the most valuable in the market. It will be interesting to watch that how Apple endeavours to maintain its lead in the business world.
