BMW Revealed 6-Series Gran Coupe
The grand Audi A7 from BMW took over its Mercedes-Benz CLS, and now BMW has revealed its magnificent 6-Series Gran Coupe, the super luxurious car with stunningly out-class body.
The official pictures of the car have been released by BMW and the super stunning Gran Coupe will make its first public appearance in March 2012 at Geneva Motor Show.
The first four wheel coupe from BMW has a long bonnet and a stretched wheelbase look that has helped designers leave more space for rear passengers giving them a comfortable room feeling. The stretched wheelbase is 3 meters long. The inside four seat layout leaves a space for fifth ‘jump seat;’ hence ensuring space for more passengers.
BMW has announced an initial 3 engine choice: 640i, 640d and 650i; all are coming with standard eight-speed automatic gear box and rear wheel drive.
The 640i M Sport Gran Coupe has a top speed of 155mph with a 2979cc engine having 6 cylinders. It is 1894mm wide, 5007mm in length and 1392mm in height. The electric power steering, auto start stop, eight-speed sport automatic transmission and brake engine regeneration are some of its core features.
BMW will also offer a four wheel drive option on 650i. The third will 640d that has 2993cc engine and a top speed of 150mph. It will deliver a combined fuel consumption of 5.6 lit/100km.
The audio system in 6-Series Gran Coupe is the most powerful audio system ever used by BMW. It has 16 powerful speakers. It can make you feel like WOW!
June 2012, the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe goes on sale with 640i M Sport priced as £66,045 and 640d M Sport priced as £68,560.
