iOS 5 Updates – Apple Promises to Fix Bugs Reducing Battery Life

Apple has announced on Wednesday, 1st November that it will address the issue of battery life by removing bugs from its iOS 5 software.

This is a response to complaints from a number of customers who faced problems with battery life when they updated their iPhone 4S to iOS 5.  The statement from Apple has made clear that the issue belongs to iOS 5 software and it has nothing to do with the hardware (iPhone 4S).

 

Earlier than this, there was a controversy related to the location-tracking, which was also solved through a software update.

A new version of iOS 5 has been provided to developers by Apple to find out if there are any more bugs to be resolved; so that once, it reaches to the public; it is bug free.

Apple engineers are working closely with the customers to find out concrete problems with the battery life. All this is done to ensure that iOS 5 software is bug free and is able to give the expected results.
